What (if any) external engine parts from a GMC 248 are interchangeable with a 302? Intake/carb? Head? This is my fist Task Force, thanks to all for being so patient and helpful!

Most everything you mention will "fit" but be careful, the 302 heads have bigger ports, different chambers and flat-top pistons. Some of the 248s used domed pistons, so swapping heads will give you a strangled 302 with very low compression. All of the external tinware can be used with no problem, as can water pump, damper pulley etc.
