I have a 1953 3100 truck with a 3 speed column tranny, I ordered a Gearshift rebuild kit for my shifter. I was able to install all of the parts (spring, retainer pins, etc)except for a round aluminum bushing with a rubber(black) sock around it. Does anyone know where this part goes? The assembly manual doesn't show anything on this one. Appreciate anyone that can help. Thanks.
