OK, I just found the stamp on the motor.
F0707TA = 230ci inline 6 (for a 1965)
Next question: Is the 230ci inline 6 gonna be a good motor? We shall see! What do y'all think? Sounds like many folks install a 305ci V8.
I'm ready for some opinions.

If you will get those and post them here in the engine forum someone can tell you.

REbuild the one you have or you could go about anyway you want to. Today I got my new crome rear bumper, now if i could just figure out where it was supposed to bolt up to the frame... there doesnt seem to be any stock holes etc in the frame. Never been rebuilt, no leaks and no major engine work have ever been performed. Just fuel, oil and usual maintenance. The old inline six was built to last forever.
