What is that valve called and can I purchase a new/rebuilt one. I tried the search feature and come up with very little info, so any thing someone might add would be greatly appreciated. I like the idea of the aux valve under the hood, but after removing the leaking valve there is no longer a copper tube through the firewall to connect to the heater hose. do you have a suggestion for the plumbing aspect as well. I tryed for days to get the rubber hose to work and it was not working. Just to sharp of turns for it to make without kinking. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 127 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 127 | I talked with both vendors (American Classic and classic parts)and the only heater control valve they offer has a 5/8" inlet and a 5/8 outlet. The ones in my heater core are 3/4" therefore to use these i would need to reduce it inside the heater box and I do not believe there is enough room for that. Curious if someone might have had the same trouble. otherwise I believe Squeeze might have he answer that will be the least headache.
