| | | | Joined: May 2011 Posts: 7 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: May 2011 Posts: 7 | Hi I have a 52 Chevy 3600 that I have restored.I am trying to figure out how to hook up the throttle cable to the Rochester carb.I run thre cable through the accelerator linkage and put a cable stop on the end.The problem is when i pull the throttle I am pulling against the stiff return spring.Any help is appreciated. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 | Sounds like you have it hooked up right, maybe you need a softer spring.
