54 235, just fired it up and while checking the rocker/valves found the oil tube, appears to be broken off? I've got plenty of oil coming out of the "hole". Does this just direct oil to the front portion of the head? How do I fix the oil tube?

Are you talking about the tube in the top of the coupling between the front and rear rocker arm shafts? It's an overflow tube that vents excess oil from the shaft, but some of them are crimped to slow down the volume of the overflow and supply more oil to the rockers. It would be fairly simple to duplicate the overflow tube and braze it into the coupling, or simply replace the coupling with an intact one.

If you're talking about the tube that comes up from the valve lifter valley, it needs to be connected to the rocker shaft with a compression fitting to supply oil to the rockers.

Yep, the tube from the rocker shaft. Can it be fixed without removing the assembly?

Not really- - - -The coupler between the shafts would need to be removed and a new piece of tubing brazed into place after a thorough cleaning. The simple way would be to replace the coupler with one that's already got the tube installed. Check your PM's
