For helping keep this great

on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 97 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 97 | I have a leaky water pump on my '53 3100. In order to determine whether i have a 3/8" or a 5/8" grooved pulley, where do I measure the pulley. Outside edge to outside edge measures 5/8", however the groove track measures 3/8". Can anyone help me with this question? | | | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 | The measurement is belt width, so measure the inside of the pulley at or near the top.
1953 should be 3/8" if stock.
