I was in the house yesterday,when I
heard a LOUD crash outside - you know,the
kind that you know is serious.
A kid (27-29),hit my neighbor's newer
Toyota Tacoma.He was going the opposite way,& the street is about 5 cars wide.The
Tacoma was parked,with nobody inside.
He had his dog with him,that hit the
windshield,& then wandered off,after he opened the door.We let him do that.He was
gone for at least 1/2 hour,& came back -(from the opposte direction).
He again apolized,& said that he needed to go check on his dog.
He was driving an '80's Toyota 4Runner,& pushed the Tacoma back about 6 feet.I then noticed that the trailer ball
on the Tacoma had bent the front bumper on
our '60 panel truck,& that the panel was
pushed back about 2-3 feet from where it
was parked.
He never came back,& I called the CHP,
who finally showed up.
So now,I'm stuck with a damaged vehicle,& no idea if he'll pay for it.
Does anyone have a nice painted/chrome
front bumper for sale,for a reasonable price?
I have pictures,if anyone's interested.
