I tried to do a search here..but had no luck, I picked up a Rochester carb.. On the Bottom the P/N is 7004516-c-19..it also has on top.. Rp Rochester GM ..and also stamped by the Linkage Rochester GM..Will this be a good spare for my 55.. 235 I suppose if I did a little more investigating I could find out...But..I trust you guys more than me..

You really can,t ID it without the brass tag om top. They are usually gone after a few years. Compare the mounting holes with the ones on your 235. The 216 are narrower. What kind of neck does it have where the air cleaner goes on. Does the inlet line go in the front or on the side with a big nut & filter behind it.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

Lets see...You know..I just visited e-bay, and saw 2 of them for sale that matched mine (235) exactly..I am going to see if the Mounting holes match...Its a good match..It is missing the Linkage hook up fpr the choke, you know the Bracket..but other wise, its exact. Not a bad find for 10$
