I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a rebuild kit for the low and three tranny on my truck, or if I have to get the parts separate. I also have the Timken 2-speed rear end, and I haven't been able to find any parts at all for them. If someone knows of a place it would save me some work. I might end up doing some fabricating maybe? Anyways, catch ya all later.

If so it should be an SM-420 GM/Muncie. Lots of parts still available. I don't know about a "kit" as such, but Novak Adapters has parts for them, as well as other vendors. Here's a link Many posts on this forum about the SM-420. Do a search of this site for loads of info. Good luck

It doesn't have enough wear on it to warrant the $198 rebuild kit though, and it doesn't really leak, so I don't think I'll pull it apart. I'd still like to rebuild the rear end though, I have problems with it staying in high. If anyone has info on these it would be great.
