I followed instructions and had the carb mounted tonight and started the truck for the first time, everything went great. When mounting the air cleaner I noticed the carb adaptor and intake bathed in gasoline. I then traced the leak to a 5/16 port in the base on the front of the carb, the fuel inlet side. It wasn't plugged with a brass plug, unlike two other ports on the carb.
My question is , should it be? This is something I could fix without the hassle of sending it back to Langdons.

You might want to post the model number (and year). Langdon sells a 2-barrel Holley-Weber I think). There were also 2 barrel Holleys used on early V-8s (I think)?

It's a Holley 5200. Looks like throttle shaft leaking. Doesn't leak when running, only after engine turned off.
If it's a matter of adjustment, I could use a little tutoring in how to do it.

Eureka, I found a tech sheet on this carb. What does the power valve do?
