Ran radials on stock rims for years and always ran them tubeless with no problem other than one rim that had a slow leak I ran with a tube.

Also, running tubes in tubless tires can cause premature tube/tire failure due to exessive heat buldup from friction between the tube and tire due to the composition of the construction. Ths is especially true if the tire is heavily loaded or is run at highway speeds.
