Hey guys,

I've got a '57 chevy 4400.... The flat bed has (what I have come to believe) a GMC aftermarket bed with rounded corners and ribs... took the bed off and the metal "rails" that hold the boards down are in horrible condition. Does anyone manufacture and sell these in 12' lengths?

If they are not being manufactured, has anyone else tried a different "mounting" style?

I have a few ideas on how I might lay the boards, none of them though seem sound... but I'm also thinking about cutting down the length of the flat bed down to 8' or 10'

any suggestions?

We can can make 12' bed strips. The only problem is that parts that long have to ship by truck freight and that can be expensive, depending on where you live.
We have custom forms here: http://www.mar-k.com/CustomForms/
If you fill this out and send it to us, we can give you an estimate.
Hope this helps!

Three of us over here combined an order and shipping for three beds worth of about 12' long stainles strips.

But you're only about 550 miles away from Oklahoma City, combine picking up bed strips with another trip east.

Great Idea Grigg!
However, one thing to keep in mind, if you pick up parts here, we have to charge you sales tax which is a little over 8%. So sometimes, the tax can be more than the shipping depending on what you order and where you are. It is better to get an estimate both ways and then decide.
Thanks and good luck!
