Golly.....while searching for a later model ranger (2001-2005)to replace my rusty,aging 1990 ranger and finding late model,high mileage,rusty door bottom and rusty tailgate rangers for BIG $ ($10,000.00-$14,000.00)..... By the way I'm in wisc 54466.I was in the local Cenex gas, convience store and picked up the local shoppers rag "Tradin Post". I almost never buy this. Looking thru it came across the "collectible" section. Advertised there was this 1963 C20 with 28,000 original miles,radio delete, original seat cover, 230c.i. engine, granny 4spd,good glass,new white oak(local)boards in the long fleetside box, new chrome LMC bumpers and mirrors, crawled all over this truck, topside ,bottom...NO rust any where. It has the inspectors chalk scrawlings on the firewall. 1 repaint to original color (kind of a baby blue). I would be the 3rd owner, the 2nd owner put 500 miles on it in the 4 years he owned it. Truck is originally from Nebraska and has the 1st owners orginal registration still on the steering column in its spring loaded little pouch. I will be picking the C20 up this afternoon.
25 years ago I restored a 1955 chev shortbox stepside, big back window.....300hp 327c.i. 3spd overdrive. Sold this to build a 1964 el camino. Sold that also. Now here we are again.
