Well it has been an interesting road. And I've learned alot from this Site. I thought I'd share some photo's of the cab assembly after paint. Jess and I did the paint ourselves using industrial enamel. It is by no stretch of the imagination a show quality paint job, but it sure makes a 17yo girl very happy. I know the paint-job isn't to some of your tastes, but I also know you can appreciate the work that went into it. The Black is a flat black (hotrod black) and the Orange is a gloss (safety orange) the contrast between the shiny and dull makes it almost jump out at you. Thanks to all who have helped and made this site what it is. It will only be a few more weeks and hopefully Jessica will be driving it to her first day of school. She already plans to have her senior pictures taken with the truck.

Nice job. I know a lot of the kids at school will be envious.

Looks great - you are a lucky man to be working on a project with your daughter.

TCOX,
You are correct. I wouldn't trade it for the world and I'm pretty sure she feels the same way. I still cant believe it was her idea to do the project in the first place.

Good looking ride. Nothing like working on the old truck on your free time.
