The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Paint and Body Shop Should I wax my stack bed?

I've just finished my wood for stake bed. 2 coats of stain and 9 coats of Minwax Helmsman Spar Urathane. Does anyone know if I should wax after final urathane coat or not?
The clear gloss looks great.

i put six coats of the same thing you used on my flatbed. after it had fully dried i waxed mine along with the freshly painted bed frame. since i didnt want to scratch it all up right away when i was loading my travel box for the south bend trip. i decided to take my shoes off and climb up there to load the box. i almost broke my neck when i slipped on the surface, slicker than ice. it looks super shined with a coat of wax on it and beads up well when it gets wet. just be careful up there with no shoes on or when its wet.

i used rain dance and any wax will work. if your taling about the bed finish itself so far yes but then its garaged kept and only get wet when i wash it of i get caught out in the rain while im at a show.
