Where do you guys pick up your tires for the big boy bolts?
Mines a '57 chevy 4400 (dually)
The tires on it currently look pretty classic... All I can find measurement wise is " 9.00 - 20 " ?
Are there retreads available for these?
Where do you guys pick up yours? | | | | | Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 184 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 184 | Haven't looked for tires myself yet...and a source in Ohio wouldn't help anyway..... but the 9.00 - 20 is all you need for a size.
It is an older system of measurement where the 9.00 is the tire(rubber) size. (The larger the number the bigger the tire) and 20 is the rim diameter.
If you call around to some tire shops that do a lot of trucks they should be able to get just about anything you need.
