Finishing up my re-wire, and I have two electric wiper motors I'm using. They both look the same, but the passenger side has only a B+ and a ground terminal, and a big dial in the center which is the on/off switch. I have switches on the dash, so I just leave that big dial set to ON and control the wiper via the dash switch.

The drivers side has no dial, and three terminals, B+, ground, and Switch.

The passenger side was easy, just ran hot lead to the dash switch, and then to the B+ terminal on the motor. That one works fine.

How do I wire the drivers side? I split the B+ off before the passenger side switch, and then split that wire off and ran one hot lead straight to the B+ on the drivers side motor, and one end to the drivers side switch, then to the terminal marked switch on the driver side.

The drivers side doesn't work at all, and I noticed I have 12 volts on both sides of the drivers side switch even when it's in the OFF position. That's not right.

What did I do wrong?

Oh wait, does the SWITCH terminal on the drivers side mean that it's "switched", like when the drivers side is on, it's giving 12v off that terminal to feed to another wiper motor? I bet that's what it is. I'll check when I get home from work.

Sounds like you've got it figured out. A simple test light, available at any parts store, will make trouble shooting much easier! And, post some pics of your truck!
