Hey Jake:
I assume that semi gloss black around the front of the fender behind the headlights was original? I just painted mine and made that blue as well. Was it black on all years or was that something only on the early models?

WE screwed up, the black was carried too forward, I already spoke to the painter, he feels bad. no big deal he'll just repaint it. I tried to find some decent pics on still trying so we can get a very clear shot for his referance. Anyone got some with out the barbell in the way?

oh well, the blue will cover nicely.

Jake, Really nice. What impresses me the most is that your painter can successfully match the color while painting individual pieces over time rather than painting all the pieces at the same time. That is very hard to do. He obviously has excellent painting skills.

When we started the process, he explained to me since I was not using any metallics it would make it easier. However, he only trust (1) ONE paint shop in Gulfport, Mississippi to mix his paint.

I wish you could see him in action.
