Now I need some advice on power steering. I want to keep the stock column, unless someone can tell me of a way to put a modern column without it looking like a coble job. I have read about using late model Saginaw pump, anyone have experience with this? Thnaks! | | |

It's a good idea to replace the ball stud tie rod ends with the newer type on any power steering conversion. I used a Toyota conversion with a conventional GM pump. I also retained the stock column with the original column shifter. You can get the kits from various suppliers. I prefer these guys. abspowerbrake.com Fred
