Okay I am putting truck back together doors are on but not lining up correctly, but are close with the body lines. My problem is where the striker is to catch the striker plate I have almost a half inch of door sticking out as it is like it is not catching properly. Any suggestions?

How worn is your striker plate? If well worn you could try putting a spacer (try a couple washers) between the striker plate and the cab to push the striker plate out a little bit more for the door to catch on a little less worn area.
