My truck is original, so the bleeder valve is not a nipple. It has a screw to remove before bleeding. How does a person attach a bleeder tube to the original valve? The manual refers to a tool that screws into the bleeder valve--where do you find one of those? I appreciate any input.

The old style bleeder hose came with a screw that goes in the hole after you take the plug out. I dont know if you can still buy one like that. I just let the fluid run down the backing plate but Im kinda a slob. I will look tomorrow & see if I have one of those.

You could put some later model bleeders in till you get them bled & Then put the original back in to keep it original.
