guys,
are any of you running a rear roll pan WITH your factory rear bumper ?
a guy around town has this set up and it looks great. but, he hasnt been to any shows here in a while so i can see exactly how he did his.
he cut holes in the roll pan enough for the factory bumper brackets to pass through.
i have my roll pan and was doing some measuring, and it looks like the lower edge of the hole i will need to cut on each side will come very close to the bottom of the roll pan. im afraid it will be too weak down there in that area.
just curious if anyone has this setup and can share some pics ?
thanks

leonard

I have that on my 58. It came with a roll pan when I got it but I like the original look. I cut slots in the roll pan for the inner bumper brackets & left the outer ones off. I used used brackets & bought a new chrome bumper. It is plenty stout as I can lift the rear with a bumper lift & it does not give. I can E-mail photos if you want.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.
