For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 374 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 374 | As I posted yesterday, I purchased a 1955 235 this past weekend. Along with that purchase came the air cleaner. I was told the engine came out of a 1955 station wagon. I have found very little information on this air cleaner, some folks stating its a 1955 'Blue Flame' air cleaner and other stating its a 1956 'Bel Air' air cleaner. Any ideas what years, makes or models this came on? Is it an original GM piece? Aftermarket? Thanks fellow Stovebolters! Bought a 56 235 out of a Belair that the guy was big blocking and it was the same. Definitly NOT correct for a truck. regards, steve sr. | | |
