As I posted yesterday, I purchased a 1955 235 this past weekend. Along with that purchase came the air cleaner. I was told the engine came out of a 1955 station wagon. I have found very little information on this air cleaner, some folks stating its a 1955 'Blue Flame' air cleaner and other stating its a 1956 'Bel Air' air cleaner. Any ideas what years, makes or models this came on? Is it an original GM piece? Aftermarket? Thanks fellow Stovebolters!

Yes that air cleaner goes on a 55/56 chevy car engine, maybe more.
had the same one on my 55 210 sedan.
Bought a 56 235 out of a Belair that the guy was big blocking and it was the same.
Definitly NOT correct for a truck.
regards,
steve sr.
