Not really sure what for but I'll save for it when I need it. The price was too good to pass up and it was five miles from my work. It also has the 3836848 head. Missing some stuff, but mostly there and 'ran when parked'. grin

Pretty clean too. Always good to have an extra motor.

Very nice.

I have the urge to rebuild a six, just for fun.
My '66 305 V6 GMC is tough to get parts for or I would rebuild it.

good find! i have a line on a 54 235 for $250.00. it also ran when parked. it has push rods, but its full oil pressure. and, i'm in need of an engine. price sound right to everyone? anything i need to know about this engine? it will bolt up to my flywheel, right? also, what is the significance of that head?

Fletch, this really needs to be a separate post, but the '54 235 is a great choice for your '41. It's nearly a bolt in deal using your bell housing.

Degreased the 1955 235 this past weekend mentioned above. Not 'paint ready' but good enuff for storage till I need it (pics below). Also, I would not run that big air cleaner but I sure do like it. grin
