Well after installing a 235 into my 49 1ton, I had to come up with a linkage fron the accelerator to the carb. I should also say that I installed Fenton Headers, can anyone tell me if there is a complete linkage setup I can buy or for this or do I have to wing it and develop something from scratch. Overall, I'm just not happy with the action of my current design. Thanks.

C-B, Theres lotsa ways to go here, cable or rods, stock or you-build-it, but, if you do it with good aftermarket parts it'll be slicker than any OEM. You could start by getting a Mr. Gasket ball bearing bellcrank. Then get some good quality rod ends, mount it, align the rods for good geometry & you'll love it. Get a cool modern pedal assembly for it too.
For a lo-buck fix just do the same with some OEM wrecking yard parts. Check Jegs, Summit, Speedway, or your local speed shop for the aftermarket stuff. Doug
