There was no GM original equipment part that was attached there.

It might have been foe an after market trim piece or light?

Can you post a photo?

At top of the rear fender at the point of the middle of the top of the tire there is a brace that holds the fender so it doesn't flex. Click on my Flickr link below, on page 3 of my photo's you will see "Insurance Photo # 3 and #8".

Do you see those 2 small rivits in the fenders, they are kinda hard to see with the paint but they are there. Is that what you are talking about? That is a stock bracket.

Yes, i know i had seen them before small rivots thats right, my truck has a been lowered abit so they must have removed the brace but it is solid as h... maybe I should think of another way to install that brace

That brace belongs in that fender because the outer edge is quite flimsy. It was originally bolted to the bed with one of the bed to fender bolts and the outer edge was riveted with two rivets. The vendors sell screws without slots that look just like the rivets when installed. I would definitely put a brace back in there if it's missing.
If it's a clearance problem then it's been lowered WAY to much because there is a LOT of clearance on the stock trucks.

This is quite a common practice on lowered trucks especially when wider wheels and tyres are fitted.
Some just trim them back to clear or as you've seen, remove them altogether.
As Denny mentioned, the factory put them there for a reason.
