I'm finishing up my restoration on my '50 3100 and found that the body guy covered up the holes for mounting my VIN plate. I want to remount the plate in the same spot where it was originally mounted. Does anyone have a pic showing the correct mounting location on the door post? Thanks.

I can take a measurement if you need

Interesting article on Door Post Plates
here

I almost had a bad day at DMV when the inspector saw my Data Plate held on by (Original) screws.
My S/N is my VIN and had to be verified.

DADS50, Sorry for the long delay in response. I've been traveling and got the plate mounted yesterday. Found the old top hole from the backside with a mirror & light. Thanks for the help.
