Put your calipers on the "shoulder" of the 3/16ths die and tell me the thickness.
Thanks, in advance.

Do you want to know how far to stick the tube out of the clamp? This may vary by manufacturer depending on little details like how much the clamp is countersunk.

But I just spent that last 45 minutes looking thru their site and on line and still can't find prices or a place to order one. Where did you find yours???? I need to find this quick before the urge leaves me!!!!

They have dealers and while I'm not a dealer I did setup an account and now it's easy for me to order stuff. I've offered to do a group order if there is much interest, so far you're the second person. Last time I ordered a few of them they gave me a much better price than if I had only ordered one. I'll send you a PM. (well I will if you'd thin out your PM box) If anyone else wants one http://www.brakequip.com/fitpdf/tubes_flaring.pdfsend me a PM. Grigg

I was comparing two buttons, each different. Never dawned on me that they were probably meant for different clamps.

Got an email back from Brakequip which I sent at five or six this morning and Margaret Meek came back with a price, let me catch my breath here, talking five hunderd big ones to get a BQ350 now. I'd have to get a much better deal than that before I bought one now. And no I don't want half the set by stepping down to the BQ351. I like good tools and if I were in the mood to buy it I'd want the top of the line. Sure as heck one Saterday night around 11:00 pm I'd need the tool that the bargan set didn't have with it. And to think, if they would have had an easy way of online purchacing it at five o'clock this morning when I was hot I probably would have bought it. Shouldn't give me any time to think about things like that!!!!

Funny enough that same search that returns the link above as the first choice returns this very thread as 7th choice and in the preview shows "Hey Grigg, I was very impressed by the Brake Quip BQ350 tool but and I ... and on line and still can't find prices or a place to order one" Grigg

Like I said, that gal that answered my email at BrakeQuip shot me that big one of $485. If I could get that thing down below $400 and I might buy one. Denny Graham Sandwich, IL
