Hatari!  This movie has been mentioned here before. It 's about a troupe of professionals who capture animals for zoos. Of interest here may be one of the movie's stars: a r/h drive Advance Design Chevy pickup. This movie also stars John Wayne, among others. Great shots of the African plains, also. It's long. It's dated. It's sometimes corny. It's full of chain-smokers. But, it has some great footage of a truck in action. Here's a chance to see it without trying to find it at the local video store.
Showing this week and next on AMC -- American Movie Classics -- channel.:

Thursday, Aug. 15 2:40 AM / EST

Hatari, that is a great movie. I think it's a 54? The fleetside bed on it is off a 1960-66'Chevy, or GMC truck. It would be cool to have an AD with right hand drive! It's been on alot this last week were I live. As of matter of fact it's on right now,it's just starting!! The one guy just got hit in the leg by a Rino. Gotta watch it. smile
