I have replacment glass on order and will have it installed by a local glass shop. Is it possible to just replace a single panel? The windshield rubber is in good shape so not sure if this is possible.
All articles I've read on windshield replacement start with no glass in the truck. Just wondering if the broken panel could be removed, the seal worked out of one side and a new glass piece installed.

It probably wouldn't cost much more to replace both. Also, you might want to replace with tinted. I did and am quite pleased with what I got.

It may well be it's covered in tiny pits and scratches.(Normal wear and tear)
Trust me if it is old you will notice it when a new glass is installed next to it.
One can be done but personally if I were replacing one half,I would go the whole nine yards and replace both.
It wouldn't hurt to replace the rubber at the same time either...JMO
