My 66' GMC Burb has 6 lug 15" rims. Was 16" 6 lug rims offered from factory? I'd like to but 16" on it but want the steel wheel look. Want to keep the origional look._

I think the 16s' were only on a 3/4 ton truck and some were even split ring wheels. Later model 16's will fit from some of the 90's gmc burbs and pickups but I do not think they were available stock on a 1/2 ton.

Had a 66 3/4 ton short box step side parts truck years ago that had 16" factory rims. Sold it like a darn fool when my wife wouldn't let me drag it home from my parents farm when they sold out.

She's gone now, should have kept the truck.
