guys,
do you have nay pictures of your radio / cd players mounted in your dash that you could share ?
i am gathering ideas since i soon will be getting an a/c unit and will have to move my radio from the glove box. i hate thinking about cutting a hole in the dash where the original radio was, but my truck aint original anyway, so its gonna happen soon.

thanks much

Ever thought of putting your radio under the seat with a remote to run it.

Leonard,
They make aftermarket radios that bolt right in the old spot that have CD, MP3 and USB options. They look and sound great and are not much more than a good modern in dash unit.

Here's a pic of my radio in the glovebox. It is attached to a wood 1x4 using brackets supplied with the radio. The 1x4 is attached with one bolt (see it?) to the lower dash.

The original radio faceplate is there for looks.

Oops. I got the radio move au contraire. Yours is in the glovebox already.
