on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2011 Posts: 20 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: May 2011 Posts: 20 | Any suggestions for the best quality parts for my 49 3100. Any made in the USA parts companies out there? If not which is the best parts/reproduction/company available. Any advice would be appreciated. Some vendors carry stuff others don't carry. If you are having trouble finding a part check with the old guys here on the Bolt, they'll tell you where to go... You can buy a new bed from Mar-K made in Okie City.

Several things that I've gotten from them were made in USA. They carry parts for 37-54 Chevy trucks and cars, and their catalog is about an inch thick(unlike some lesser vendors little magazines). | | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 | Steele or Metro for USA rubber. Someone can verify if Dynacom parts are USA made, they are the one that offers a complete AD body. All are several times as much as the foreign junk but it seems you're one that quality trumps price. Good luck

So you can take Chinese parts add some labor to them, some fancy packaging, some shipping cartons (both inner cartons and outer cartons) and they are now “Made in the USA”.
There’s nothing wrong with Chinese part suppliers. If spec’ed properly they make high quality parts.
