Hello
I am replacing my driveshaft bushing and seal with an oakie bushing on my '52 chev 1/2 ton.
Everyone of the usual parts houses has the bushing puller backorderd. I've heard it said you can just drive the old bushing and seal in with the new oakie bushing and things will be fine. Others say you must first pull the bushing. Also, does anyone have a source for a bushing puller or one that they are willing to sell or rent?
Any help or advice on this will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Stevo

Thanks Tim
They are also backordered.
I had a stroke of luck today, however. A local rental shop had one on the shelf that they sold to me!
If anyone out there has the need for one I'd be glad to let you use it.
