I'm installing an original radio and speaker in a 55 2nd series and am trying to find someone who has a template to help line up and cut the right size hole for the speaker above the rear view mirror. Thank you

It's a work in progress! Started August 08. gotta finish before the baby comes August 20th!

I'd be suprised if you can find one, but if you look here [page 3] and note that the notch in the bottom of the speaker housing fits over the stock mirror arm, you should be able to figure it, the hole will be an oval roughly 4-5" wide to leave some clearance around the speaker magnet

Yup that is why I'm going with the 2 speaker replacement for up there. Hopefully no hole to cut.

The only holes for the 2 speaker setup will be the 4 mounting screw holes, plus a hole for the speaker wires. IIRC, I went 3/4" for the hoe for the wires as it made it easier to run them. I also added a grommet in the hole to prevent chafing of the insulation.
I do find them to be a bit "tinny" sounding, ended up adding a pair of 6x9s in the cab corners to balance it out. Ammo cans make perfect cab corner speaker boxes for TF trucks. Paint them up to match the heater, they look like they belong there.

If anyone needs the location I would take the measurements.

Kicking self for selling off my Taskforce trucks.
Still looking for an LCF or conventional big bolt in decent shape.
