My steering/rag joint has sheered off and busted, what suggestions for this? Seems to me that on the steering shaft part of the joint is not removable. Any replacement parts available or just put some bolts in it and drive?

Repair kits are available from any parts store. New ones are available but are expensive.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

That rag joint is designed to relieve pressure off the top bearing of the gear box. You should replace the joint and your gearbox will thank you by giving you longer years without leaking.
