For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 256 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 256 | Hi, helping someone look for parking brake cables for their art deco 2ton. The exact year is unknown. I can't find anything online for the two tons, just 1 1/2 tons. If it matters it is a dually with a dump bed. Anyone know if they are being reproduced or where I could get NOS cables? | | | | | Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 5 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 5 | I cannot tell you where they are located but the company is called RARE PARTS - I think in Tenn. My neighbor found them and was able to get a NOS .010" oversize kingpin set for my 46 2 ton. It's my understanding that Rare Parts is pretty much NOS stuff. Also try Bob Adler of Adler's Antiques in NY (he's on the web) - He writes articles for Vintage Truck and has answered several questions for me. He has a lot of info on Art Deco trucks. | | |
