guys,
do any of you know a site where i can pick a shock, say from monroe or any other manufacturer, by collapsed and extended lengths ?
i am re mounting the rear upper shock mounts on my 57 straight up and down, to gain room for an exhaust system.
i found some nitrogen gas shocks, but they are $39.00 each. was hoping to maybe find some monroes or gabriels hopefully cheaper.

i went to pep boys and napa today and they dont search by lengths, only year of vehicle.
i need a collapsed length of 10" and an extended length of 15".

i fabbed up the new upper mounts today and have them bolted in, but need the new shocks. once i get it all in i will post pics.

thanks guys

Monroe used to have one, I have it bookmarked. I tried to link to it but it's a bad link now. You might give their customer support a call.

I emailed Monroe asking what happened to that page. If I get a reply I'll post it.

I got a catalog from CPP yesterday, they have an excellent chart in the back of it comparing shocks (compressed and extended). Darn, can't find it on line.
