I bought a 216 today that was rebuilt in 1999 as a spare but never used, it's been in storage for the past 12 years.
I'm the third owner since the rebuild, it was a throw in when the PO bought a 49 one-ton three years ago. I've got one page of notes that give some basic details of the build, but it's not much more than clearances.
When it got rebuilt they used a 235 head. Would this have been done for any performance reason or could it be that they happened to have a good 235 head on hand and so that's what they used?
