64 fuel gauge

replacing fuel gauge

Is it possible on a 1964 C-10 to remove the fuel gauge from the rear of the instrument cluster WITHOUT pulling the cluster from the dash?

Yes it is,
I think it's a 5/16" socket if my memory serves me well. There are 2 small screws, and the wires that plug into it.
less that 5 min you can have it out.
