On a 54 chev with stock dash do the instrument clusters have to come off to change the bulb? There is nothing in the owners or shop manual about changing them. Thanks Murray

Nope. Find someone with tiny hands to reach up behind the dash and change those bulbs.

I do not have tiny hands and I am not a contortionist, but Tom's advice is how I easily do it (it is a little painful lying on the floor in a very unnatural position).
