Hi,
I have a transplant engine in my 49' Chevy 3100 pickup.
Numbers are difficult to read # 8701881/ GM2.
Another set GM 15/ 3835637.
And finally B12 887
066
576.
Can anyone narrow down my possibilities? Rust is making it difficult to be exact with the #'s.
Thank you for your time.

Tom, I was already going to email this to you. I'm kinda tired tonight so I didn't try to look it up for you. You might be able to find here. Also, search the forum for the topic and you will probably find some other reference pages that allow you to decode engines by their block numbers. Talk to you soon, Don
