my 46 panel being flung back and letting it rest on the oppisite side it now
seems to have permanet sprung look to it
near the front when closed...Does anyone
have a solution as to bring the lines back
together....

Have the same problem with my '40. I'll be interested in a fix also!! I figured a good body man (and that is Not Me)could fix/straighten/align it. Anybody with experience out there??

Mine has sprung a little as well. Something else to look out for is end hinge pin developing stress cracking where it sits on firewall. Mine broke last year - was able to have bodyguy weld for me, otherwise new hinge bar req'd.
