I can not find the cfm for my holley 2bl. I have checked all the sites suggested on my search engine, including the holley site with the pdf listing. The list number is R 8053 the date is 0963. It came from the stock room of a part store that changed hands and had been on the shelf for many, many years. This may be the wrong forum, anyway, thanks.

Is it a 3 bolt or 4 bolt mount? If its a 3 bolt, it probably fits a Ford Y-Block and is about 175 CFM.

I am having technical problems with posting the pictures. I will try again when I have about 2 hours of free time.

It is a 4 bolt, I have it on my 283. The top of the float cover is copper colored (not copper) is this common? There is no hole to check the fuel level.

O.K. heres the deal. I need to have a URL or something to get these pictures posted so that you guys can help me out on finding out the cfm of my holley 2bl. I do not have a facebook page, u-tube entry or any other thing of this nature, because I swore to myself that I would not get caught up into the whole internet deal. I guess it is time. I'll see what I can do to get started. By the way, the carb came in a holley box with appropiate gaskets and extra linkage for hot air chokes.

Thanks for the info. I'll try and see if I can figure it out, if so I'll put some pics of my truck. It ain't beautiful like most of the other ones. I drive it daily and work with it if I need too.

No CFM rating, but it's a Holley replacement for the Rochester small-bore 2-BBL carb that was original equipment on the 283, 307, and 327. It probably isn't as good a carb as the OE Rochester, because it won't be calibrated for a specific engine/trans/gear ratio setup like an OEM carb would be. Typical Holley approach- - - - -make something that bolts on and looks right, and make it work pretty well for a variety of engines. If it works exactly right, it's a fortunate accident.
