Might be for the inner windsheild garnish molding. 4) Is to small to see, your photo bucket won’t let me zoom in on the thumbnail. But it looks like the center strip for the headliner. 5) Same problem on this one to small to make out. Also hard to photograph or pick up details in black. 6) And same problem here also, might be the ring your wife lost a couple of years ago.

I should know better than to take a pic at night. The flash ruins the shot. I'll try again today if it doesn't rain.

I knew I had seen it all my life in my old cars but couldn't remember where. I still don't know what joint on the door it covers. It should have been painted with the rest of the stuff.

Tim, no wonder I couldn't find where it went. I haven't gotten to that part of the door. Thanks.
Close John but not a wiper part. It is a spring clip that has a wavy bend around it.
I'll take some more daytime pics of the unknowns and post later.

I usually depend on LMC's catalog to show me where stuff goes, not having another AD handy to compare and having removed everything 5 years ago. However LMC shows the anti-rattle as a set and not in position where it goes. Is the curved end piece the part I see stapled to the inner door trim in some pictures? Then where does the straight strips go?

This is a '50 door so it's curved at both ends but it's the same as yours otherwise. check out the bottom of the page: http://www.pbase.com/dennygraham/doors&page=allIf ya got two that are straight, my guess would be that five years ago ya ordered two sets, one came pre-bent and the other they left up to you. So put the straight ones on the shelf for the next one. Denny Graham Sandwich, IL

Finally I understand on the cat's whisker's. I just couldn't understand why I had two different types, and I would see pics of someone installing each one on the window molding. I guess I didn't take enough pics on the dismantle. I didn't have time today (a wedding and a graduation) to take some better pics on the other parts. mañana amigo!

For example the picture of your window sweep would look like this: (click the link to see the difference) http://i729.photobucket.com/albums/ww296/BIGCHEVY3600/P5190359.jpgAlso if you use the Full Reply Screen and the link button (picture of a link of chain & globe) you can put a hyperlink in the post like this: Window Sweep

I always wondered how they got that long link into 3 or 4 letters. Tap me on the head if I ever again forget to use the direct link.

Quite a difference from the night shots. These three are a mystery to me. The round springy things look like they may have been from my elec. wipers. Is this the way to post pics Tiny? #100 #2 #200 #3 #300

#200 and #300 look similar.
The second picture shows a washer that I believe goes on the shift rod pivot on the bell housing.
The third pic shows the nutplates that go on the glove box liner. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 | from your "pics taken in daylight" 100/200/300 hold some weatherstrip someplace, can't quite place it, but maybe either cat whiskers or cowl-to-hood seal?
#2/3 [whatha3.jpg] are the tabs the go in the door to hold the felt window channel in place, should be 3 per side I think
the wavey washers in your other pics are tensioning washers that go where the wiper arms mount on the motor pegs

Now I find out there is a clip for it. | | |
