I'm putting my Intake manifold back on after cleaning motor up...I'm also putting on some headers...What do I torque the bolts to that hold them on?
Thanks..also, should I put on my new carb on before or after install ? | | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | 15-20 for the outer 4 bolts, 25-30 for the 2 next to the heat riser. I also like to remove the 2 guide pins at te very outer ends of the exhaust manifold and replace them with bolts for better sealing. I torque them to the same 15-20 ft/lbs as the others. Carb can be installed on the manifold before or after, might be easier to hadle the manifold with it off, though.
