Anyone have picture showing the mounting of the strap that goes between the engine and the firewall? This would be for 3100, 55 to 59 1/2 ton, with either engine. Not the battery negative ground

there's a threaded hole on a slight boss on the pass side toeboard, in this pic you can see it's right behind the V8 exhaust manifold - goes from there to a mount bolt on the starter and was originally a braided strap as shown ... sounds like you know the battery ground goes to a similar point behind the battery

Got it thank you, is the nut welded on the inside of the boss square or 5 sided?

no idea, might be round, it's a threaded hole, no access inside
