I am just wundering if any one has any experience with any of the parts suppliers springs. I did some searching and didn't find too much on this topic I know most of yall like a lower look but I am going for a tall stance. The truck is gunna have a bit of a farm feel to it (make it fit in better with the rest of my trucks  ) Just lookin for any info on these aftermarket springs. Classic parts is the cheapest I found so I was planning on going with them, but if yall really like another supplier's product I might "spring" for the extra money.  thanks a bunch -LGringo

I ordered the stock hieght springs from truck shop in orange california. I got them when they were having a sale. Shop around for the best deal. The shipping on these can be killer. They have the stock type clips for the springs and come with both the plain and threaded bushings installed. Delivery charge was reasonable. I am pleased with all aspects of my dealing with them.

My main leaf on both front springs is broken, considered just replacing the main leaf but would rather have the peace of mind of new metal under the front end. They are located in Fullerton, CA, so if you are close enough, you can will call the order and pick it up from them to avoid shipping charges.
I'm very happy with the order. It wasn't the cheapest purchase I've ever made, but the parts are quality. I originally wanted stock height, but I ended up choosing 2.5" low in the front and 3" low in the rear. None the less, Performance Online makes stock heights and lowered heights for multileaf or monoleaf springs. I also bought new shackles, shocks, bushings and sway bars for front and rear. I ordered on a Sunday, I'm about 150 miles away from the main headquarters and I had nearly all of my order by Tuesday.
I also got a rear-end upgrade kit that allows me to place a more modern Chevy 10 bolt rear end under my '53 and the mounting brackets for the leafs enable me to center the wheels in the wheel wells.
I have not begun installation yet. It seems pretty straight forward. The only thing I find odd is the lack of any formal installation instructions for any of the items ordered. Some items kind of had them, but they weren't very helpful. All I know is that I need to clearance part of the spring hanger, but I don't know what areas need to be clearanced...

they got here in less than a week.
the springs look very good, identical to original
the correct bushings were already pressed into each end of every spring.
springs were paint nicely
price was best I could find
the company was very helpful on the phone, knew exactlly what i needed, and cared about getting it right
awsome transaction
highly reccomend St. Louis Spring for any spring needs, new truck or old.

(only complant was I think the springs were wraped too soon after paint, little paint came off with the wrapping. but then again maybe fedex was just rough with them
